December 2008: Start of a new project of our group:
ViAMoD - Visual Spatiotemporal Pattern Analysis of Movement and Event Data, 2008 - 2014
Topic: Visual analytics methods to support the spatiotemportal analysis of movements in a physical space, in particular in a geographical space

May 2008: GeoVisualization of Dynamics, Movement and Change. Workshop at the AGILE 2008 Conference (May 5, 2008, Girona, Spain) and Special Issue of the Information Visualization journal (provisional issue Vol.7 No.3).

February 2008: Our research group organizes a workshop on GeoVisualization of Dynamics, Movement and Change at the AGILE conference in Girona (May 5, 2008). Extended abstracts of 20 accepted presentations are available online already. A special issue of the Information Visualization journal is in preparation.

 

January 2008: We are organizing a workshop on GeoSpatial Visual Analytics at the GIScience conference in Utah, September 2008 and preparing a special issue of Cartography and GIScience (July 2009).
